About this notice
This notice covers cookies and similar browser storage on ouropt.com, operated by OUROPT LTD. It does not cover our separate product websites. Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal data, your rights and how to contact us.
Your choices
Our privacy notice lets you accept optional preferences, reject them, or manage them individually. Optional analytics and advertising tracking are currently disabled. Accepting preferences does not turn them on.
Open cookie settings to change your choice at any time. Rejecting optional preferences does not stop you using the website.
Essential functions
We store your privacy choice in your browser under ouropt-privacy-v1 using local storage. This keeps the website from asking on every page. The choice is valid for 180 days; after that, we ask again when you next visit. It is not sent to an analytics service. If your browser blocks storage, the choice may not be remembered.
WordPress also uses cookies for functions such as authenticated administrator sessions. These are separate from optional visitor analytics and are needed when you sign in to manage the site.
Optional colour-theme preference
If you allow this preference, we use local storage named ouropt-theme to remember your selection of light, dark or system appearance. Without permission, the theme control still works on the current page but your selection is not saved. We remove the saved theme when you withdraw permission, or when an expired choice is detected on your next visit. You can also clear it in your browser settings.
Analytics, advertising and other services
Google Analytics and advertising tracking are not currently enabled by OUROPT on this website. Any future use must be reviewed and reflected in these notices and the available choices before it is enabled. Our hosting and integrated services can receive technical request information when their resources load; see our Privacy Policy for the broader handling of personal data.
Browser controls
You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so can reset your preferences and sign you out of authenticated services. Blocking all storage may mean the privacy notice appears again.
